• Your college or university intimates the Home Authority that you have completed the course.

With a graduate visa, you enjoy the below-given benefits 

• You can stay for at least two years in the UK after completing the course. If you have a doctorate or a Ph.D., you can stay in the UK for 3years.
• You can work in most of the jobs, look for work.
• You can have your own business.
• You can go to any country and come back.

If you can study the course under a Student visa, you cannot apply for a Graduate visa. You extend the Student visa itself.
