Understanding human perception

Before we get into cartoon face drawing, let’s talk about the basics of animated perception. Human beings have a fascinating characteristic: we can synthesize the details of a structure or an object in a very complex way into primary and straightforward information. This way, we can accept all kinds of things through pocket curves and geometric shapes. Could you inform me if the two images down illustrate the same something? As strange as it sounds, you can look at pictures and say, “this is a car.”

What they do, unlike artists, most don’t remember all of the details that make up a car, a dog, or even a child. He then begins to associate very elementary and primitive forms with the specific characteristics of each object. How many 4, 5, or 6-year-old walked out of school with the picture of two circles and toothpicks on a piece of paper and said, “It’s mom and dad!

1. How to draw a cartoon face

Let’s start with the cartoon face drawing. The whole body of the funny is rotation. The process is all you need (accept love, class). You specify the necessary ratios of your personality head by function.Once the rotation is desired, it is time to draw the axis of the face. Draw a perpendicular, flat line that crosses in the center, as in the image below:

How to draw cartoon eyes: Step 1

Let’s learn how to draw cartoon eyes. Draw an elliptical shape with a tilt to the flank at the top to make the eyes. Repeat on the opposite side. It is essential to exit a distance between them approximately the same size as an eye. Since we are in the drafting phase, you can draw another look in the center to serve as a measure.

2nd step

At the shelter of the process, reduce the streak that will be our character’s lashes. Place the brows a little above the lashes to create a sort of surprised face. The body of the eyebrows is complimentary, and with exercise, you will adapt to your style. Draw the two students directly in the center (this is a very effective tactic used by great designers whose sole purpose is to make our characters great. Tip: to give our eyes better energy and “authenticity,” you can draw a small line at the bottom to simulate a sort of wrinkle. This is another exciting tactic that adds a special touch to our facial expressions.

Step 3

We have come to the most creative freedom of the whole course. Think of it this way: In cartoon-style drawings, the main structure of a face is the character’s skull and eyes. This is where you define identification with the outside world, i.e., it is already apparent to somebody that you are drawing a symbol. Now that we get to the jaw, we will decide if we want fat or thin character. They can be old, young, etc. My character will be young. Then we design a suitable jaw for this.

Step 4

When designing a front nose, it is common not to use many details. If you only draw the tip, it is likely to have a convincing effect already. It is also widespread to only remove one side of the nose, assuming it is the opposite side of the light. Let’s put our nose straight on our character.

Step 5

Since our qualities are a child, we will create a funny mouth, something easy to represent an expression of innocence.Note that the lips don’t need to be removed when you draw a child’s mouth! In cartoons, children of any gender have a reasonably simple mouth. A good expressive song already does the job.

Step 6

The ears are caught from the front (because our character faces the camera) so that the internal cavities do not appear. So we’ll create a simple shape using a fundamental perspective (more on that later).

Step 7

The rotation already describes the form of the skull we created initially, right? So we require a short and babyish haircut to get our boy to life. Let’s do it now.

Step 8

What they do, unlike artists, most don’t remember all of the details that make up a car, a dog, or even a child. He then begins to associate very elementary and primitive forms with the specific characteristics of each object.
