Eligibility Criteria and Admission Guidelines for MBA Course

The eligibility criteria are one of the most important parts of the admission procedure of a program. The steps are mentioned below for IGNOU MBA:

• First of all, a student must have passed his graduation degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks are required for reserved categories.
• No age bar is needed or fixed by the University for Admission to an MBA course.
• If a candidate comes with prior experience in any managerial or corporate position, he/she will be given relaxation in admission to MBA.
• One of the most important things in the IGNOU MBA course is the entrance examination. However, for other master’s degree courses, no need to appear for the entrance test but for MBA, the OPENMAT test is necessary to clear.

Admission Procedure for MBA Program in IGNOU

• First of all, candidates need to register themselves online using the link: ignou.ac.in.
• Once the registration is successful, then candidates need to purchase a prospectus or fill out the MBA form online. All the admission and course guidelines are mentioned in the prospectus.
• In case the students want to fill the form in physical format, then he/she need to fill the second form enclosed with the prospectus.

Note: The admission will be applicable for those students who have passed the OPENMAT entrance examination and got the invitation mail for the admission to MBA from IGNOU.

1. Xerox of birth certificate
2. Class 10th, 12th and graduation mark-sheet photocopies
3. Photocopy of your Aadhaar card or any other residential proof like PAN Card, Driving License, Phone or Electricity Bill, Bank Account Statement, etc.
