Pitra Dosha : The Curse of Ancestors

Pitra Dosha, also known as Pitru Dosh, is one of the most harmful astrological doshas in a person’s birth chart. According to Hindu philosophy, it is the karmic debt owed by the ancestors. This must be paid by any Pitru Dosha member in their horoscope.

A Pitru Dosha in a person’s horoscope is created if their forefathers have made any mistakes, crimes, or sins during their lifetime. It is considered a very negative aspect according to Indian Astrology.

A Pitra Dosh can only be formed in a person’s horoscope if Rahu and Sun are paired in the ninth house (also called the house of fathers and forefathers).

Types of Pitra dosha:

According to Indian Astrology, 14 types of Pitra-Dosh are based on the positions and aspects of malefic planets. The inadequacy of Rahu’s position causes Pitra Dosh. According to Hindu mythology, there are three types of Pitru Dosha.
1. Ancestors can impose the curse of the departed souls on family members if they fail to fulfill basic requirements such as shraadh and pinda daan or rituals of the last rite. Their ancestors.
2. Because of the curse of outsiders/known and unknown living beings affected by your living/departed ancestral.
3. Because of neglect to care for the elderly (parents and grandparents) and leaving them to fend for themselves
