Chopta Chandrashila Trek
The Chopta Chandrashila trek takes you to the beautiful lake, highest Shiv Temple, and distant villages, all set against the backdrop of the Chopta Valley. It is one of Uttarakhand’s most well-known and popular treks. The trek begins in Ukhimath, and goes through Sari Village to Deoria Tal. Chopta is a paradise for birdwatchers, offering Himalayan Monal and Hill Prinia, Lammergeier and Golden Eagles, as well as other Himalayan birds. Tungnath is home to the highest Shiva temple on earth, which trekkers can see. This is an apple garden. According to trekkers Hargoaon Pass is one of the most spectacular descending trails in all the Himalayas.
Dodital Trek
For those who are interested in trekking, the Sangamchatti-Dodital trek is one of the best. It is possible to hike this trail in summer but can prove difficult in winter due to the heavy snow. The walk starts in Sangamchatti, and passes through dense forest where many Himalayan birds are free to fly in the sky. Trekkers will see the Eastern Uttarakhand and Western Uttarakhand mountains as they climb to the Agoda village. Continue your journey to Bebra, a charming village known for its Rajma, potato and bean plantations as well as the Assi Ganga River. The camp offers two options for trekkers: they can relax or go Himalayan trout fishing along the banks of Assi Ghat River. After spending the night in a tent along the banks of Assi Ganga River, trekkers will climb a steep hill to reach Manjhi on the next day. Trekkers will relax and prepare for their overnight stay at Manjhi. After ascending on zigzag paths, the trekkers will reach Dodital Lake. According to Hindu mythology, Dodital lake is Lord Ganesh’s home. Dodital Lake, a picturesque lake at high altitude in North India is known for its home to Himalayan Trout locally called Dodi.
Bedni Bugyal Trek

Har Ki Dun Winter Trek
Har Ki Dun Winter Trek is among the most popular trekking routes in the Western Himalayan region. It is located in the middle of the valley, known for its cradle-shaped shape, and is just below the Har ki Dun summit. You may find the charming Har ki Dun Trek in Uttarakhand’s beautiful countryside. Dehradun is the starting point of the trek. Sankri is the gateway to Har ki Dun. The route from Sankri takes you through lush forest with breathtaking views of the valley. The next stop is Taluka village, which will be reached after Sankri. You have two options to get to Taluka village from Sankri: either you can trek or hire a car, depending on the route that is most suitable for hikers. From Taluka village, the trail descends initially, but then climbs slowly on the left side, parallel to river Rupin. The trail will climb higher until it reaches Gangar hamlet after passing through Willow, Walnut and Chestnut trees. Tourists will be able to see Osla village from a bird’s-eye view while trekking. Near Osla village, the next campsite is in Seema.
