Cannabigerol, or CBG, is a cannabinoid that works similarly to CBD but is far less abundant in hemp. The scarcity of CBG makes it more difficult to extract and thus more difficult (and expensive) for consumers to find, but it is becoming more well-known.
Bulk CBG Isolate is known as “the mother cannabinoid” and “the stem cell of cannabinoids,” and it holds a special place among its relatives. Young hemp contains higher levels of CBGa. CBGa is converted to THCa, CBDa, CBCa, and other cannabinoids with molecular carbon tails as the plant matures.
During extraction, these acidic tail molecules are subjected to the man-made process of decarboxylation, which essentially involves the addition of heat. Heat causes a chemical reaction that removes the carboxyl group (removing the carbon atom) and converts it to THC, CBD, and other non-toxic compounds.
Because of this conversion, hemp extractors looking for CBG must find the ideal window before CBG transforms into other cannabinoids. Cannabigerol oil became more accessible as extraction methods improved and experiments with high-CBG hemp genetics were conducted. However, due to these inherent difficulties, CBG is more commonly found as an isolate rather than a whole-plant extract. Indeed, many leading brands combine CBG isolate with full spectrum CBD oil, resulting in anything but full spectrum CBG Isolate Bulk.
What Is the Purpose of CBG?
We’re still figuring things out. Although research into the metamorphosis cannabinoid is still in its early stages, preliminary findings indicate that CBG has similar properties to CBD.
For example, a study on cannabis and MRSA suggests that CBG may have antimicrobial properties. Many people praise cannabinoids for their anti-inflammatory properties. A 2013 animal study discovered a reduction in colon inflammation. Other research suggests that CBG may help with inflammatory conditions such as psoriasis and IBS.
CBG research has shown promise in treating conditions such as Huntington’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders, possibly even better than CBD. A Leafly article on CBG mentioned a lab study that compared CBG and CBD for neuro-related causes. While both were effective, CBG demonstrated superior results in preventing neurodegeneration caused by toxins. Other studies have shown that it has the potential to slow tumor growth, alleviate MS symptoms, and aid in pain management.
What exactly is CBG oil?
CBG oil is a cannabigerol extraction, but it also refers to an extraction that has been mixed with a carrier oil to make tinctures or capsules.
Our CBG Isolate Bulkl is available in two varieties: full spectrum CBG oil and broad spectrum CBG oil. Both have a 1 to 1 CBD to CBG ratio, 1000 milligrams each, and other minor cannabinoids. Full spectrum contains less than 0.3 percent THC, which is the legal limit in hemp, whereas broad spectrum does not. CBG Isolate Bulk, which is pure CBG with no other cannabinoids or plant compounds, can also be purchased.
How Should You Take CBG?
If you know how to take CBD, you already know how to take CBG Isolate Bulk. They are used interchangeably. If you’re new to CBD or Bulk CBG Isolate, you’ll notice that there are numerous ways to consume it. Here’s an overview of the various methods.
Tinctures
The most common method of taking a tincture is sublingual administration. Before swallowing, place 0.5 to 1 milliliter of oil under the tongue for 30 seconds to a minute. The area under the tongue is densely packed with capillaries, which allows active ingredients to enter the bloodstream faster than simply swallowing the formula.
However, taking a tincture without waiting is still effective. Bulk CBG Isolate oil is delicious in salad dressings, drizzled on dishes, blended in smoothies, and muddled in cocktails.
Isolate
CBG Isolate Bulk is also effective in food and beverages. Its lack of flavor is an added bonus. Infusing olive or other cooking oil with isolate or adding it to a dish’s sauce is a simple way to cook with it.
Topicals
CBG has the same effect on the outside of the body as it does on the inside. Apply a few drops of tincture to the skin directly or mix it into your moisturizer. Similarly, isolate can be combined with topical ingredients to form a CBG-infused salve, cream, lotion, or other skincare product.
Concentrates
Some people prefer vaping or dabbing cannabinoid concentrates because they are more potent and act faster than other methods. The rapid onset is caused by the fact that cannabinoid vapor travels faster through the lungs and into the bloodstream than it does when digested by the liver. CBD, Bulk CBG Isolate, and CBT are all present in our CBD vape tanks.
Edibles
People prefer edibles because they provide long-lasting effects as opposed to the shorter, more intense effects of vapes and concentrates. This is due to the fact that edibles must pass through the digestive system before the body can use the cannabinoids. Others prefer edibles because they mask hemp’s earthy flavor. CBG Isolate Bulk edibles such as chocolate bars and gummies are popular.
