QuickBooks Pro Error 6073 99001 – Methods to Fix

The error message can be stopped by following the given methods –

Method 1 – Make Use of the QuickBooks File Doctor

Run the QuickBooks file doctor tool from the QuickBooks Tool hub and fix the company file and network issues. Go to the Tool hub, select Company File Issues, and then Quick Fix my File. Press OK and let the tool run.

If you are accessing the computer remotely then also, you can use the Quick Fix my Program tool to fix the error.

Method 2 – Open File in Multi-User Mode

Allow multi-user access can help in resolving the QuickBooks error message 6073 99001.

If the file is open on the host computer –

Go to the File menu and click on Close to close the company. Select Open or Restore Company and then Open a Company File. Press Next and select the file. Select the Open file in multi-user mode option and check if the error is resolved.

If the file is open in another workstation –

On the host computer, open the company file. From the File menu, select Switch to Multi-User mode and open the file in multi-user mode.

Method 3 – Allow Full Control to the Company File

1. On the host computer, open your company file folder.
2. Right-click on the folder and go to Properties.
3. On the Securitytab, select the user having login issues and click on Edit.
4. Allow full control by selecting the Allow Click on Apply and press OK.
